About

About LAMASSU

LAMASSU makes home pieces and gifts inspired by ancient Mesopotamia and the Church of the East. Every piece is designed and made in our own workshop in Canada, using a mix of hand finishing and laser work. Whether it's for your home, your car or someone you love, each piece is made to be enjoyed and kept. If you have something special in mind, just ask. We do custom work too.

What we make

Every product is carefully designed, with attention to detail and respect for the original ancient art form or artifact that inspired it.

Sacred
Crosses and inscribed pieces for your home, or as a meaningful gift.
Home
Lights, mirrors and wall pieces with designs inspired by ancient art.
Gifts
Personalized pieces, like family name signs, for weddings, new homes and other special occasions, plus car mirror ornaments, keychains and tumblers.
Educational
Pieces that help you learn and teach, from ancient scripts to the stories behind them.

How we work

We carefully design and craft our products to be durable, beautiful, timeless, and historically accurate. This involves studying artifacts and the research behind them, drawing inspiration from their designs and composition to bring the ancient past to life.
